Is it necessary to get an adaptor for electrical products used in the U.S. when you are on GCI ?

Nope.

From the "Top Questions" FAQ section: "The Cayman Islands electrical system runs on 110 volts and uses a 3-pin plug outlet/receptacle. This is the same current as utilized by the United States and Canada. European appliances that run on a 220v system will require adapters."
