Attraction advice.

I will be here on a cruise in late September. Are there any attractions close to the pier that I can either walk to or taxi that are a must see. We are very active early 20s males and walking or jogging it's not a problem at all. We left everything to do with outdoors and adventure but are open to pretty much anything as long as it's safe. Thank you for your advice.

The cruise ships dock in Basseterre, the only things within walking a reasonable walking/jogging distance are shops, a few few restaurants and a couple of historic buildings in the center of town.

You'll need transportation (taxi, rental car or organized group tour) to reach/see any of the major points of interest and activities around the island. Hint: Click on the words "St Kitts forums" that are printed in blue just above the beginning of your post then click on the "Things to do" link at the top of the new page. You'll be directed to a list of some 40+ attractions. Choose ones that most interest you and plan accordingly.

Check the activities portion of Trip Advisor, St. Kitts. If you have time, there are rain forest hikes that are safe and unique. Most activities, (beach, Brimstone, Train ride, etc) will require taxi.
