Atlantis Day Pass???

Is there any kind of day pass for the Atlantis resort? If so, what is the cost and what can we expect? Thanks!

There are no day passes to use the facilities at Atlantis. You must be a guest of the Atlantis or it's sister properties, Harbourside, Comfort Suite or Ocean Club).

You can use the casinos, shop in the high end stores, view a small portion of the aquarium and roam around the Marina Village for free. Or see the aquarium in full for $29pp. (this does NOT allow you access to the pools, slides, beach or even a chaise lounge)..

A lot of people rent a low end room for the nite (which allows up to 4 people access to the grounds for the day). Comfort Suites is usually cheapest, but sometimes there's a sale on Beach Tower rooms.

Off season, you can rent a day room for about $200, which allows up to 4 ppl use of the facilities. You have to arrive in person that morning and request a room. This is NOT guaranteed. It's based on occupancy, conventions and events for the day.

This is incorrect. You can get day passes for atlantis so that you can use the facilities. I did this in Sept 07 and I will be doing it again in May 08.

I can also assure you that the poster who said there were NO day passes for Atlantis is incorrect.

There ARE day passes available at Atlantis that will allow you to use all the pool and beach facilities. They are capacity controlled however, so you are best to arrive by 9:30am to purchase them.

You can purchase the passes at the tour desk at the lower level of the Royal Towers near the Fathoms restaurant. The cost (as of last summer) was $110 for adults and $70 for children. You should check to see if those are still the same rates, as I cannot say if they have changed since we were there last.

You will be given a wristband that will give you access to all the pools and beaches, including the new area with the waterslides and wave river.

The pools usually close around 5pm, so obviously, the earlier you get there, the more time you will have.

You should know, however, that most of the restaurants near the pool area do not accept cash -- just credit card and room cards. So either plan accordingly, or bring a few snacks to nibble on while there.

Have a great time!

Thanks margate, I love to read remarks from old post. Like time stands still.

Yep, there are day passes. Who knows what will happen next season or what the price will be.

There are day passes now but I sure don't like the idea. One of the perks of staying at Atlantis (we stay at Harborside) are the pools, waterslides, etc.

It just makes everything that much more crowded, the pools, waterslides, food lines, etc.

Everything is to make a few more bucks though huh!! At least if they charge $100 plus for adults and $70 for kids that should limit the day passes a bit.

One kink in this is that Comfort Suites no longer offers one night stays and check in isn't until 3pm. I called today. Any other ideas?

We booked a one night stay back in December--did it online through the Choice Hotels website, and it was only about $180 for two people after they added all the taxes.
