Has anyone stayed at this property in North Palmetto Point. It seems there are others on the island with a similar name. This one is vrbo # 435441? Any imput is appreciated.
Do you mean that no one on this forum has stayed there?????? That is scary .
Hi luv, I'm pretty sure that's what it means. Don't know if it should be scary or not but, it could be?
You may just want to search "Barefoot Beach Villa" on this forum and see if there have been any past postings.
It looks like it has only been a rental for a very short time. That is probably why you can’t find any reviews on it.
If it is the place I am thinking of we have driven by it plenty of times, and stayed a few doors down at Kokomo. It looked like a nice place from the outside when we were there. We have snorkeled in front of it many times.
I think it used to be called Up Yonder? It looks like someone bought it, renovated it and just recently started renting it out.
Edited: 11 years agoWe have been trying to get a contract to stay here for 6 weeks now to no avail. I guess they don't really want guests to stay there. We have finally given up and looking for something else.
Try the home next to Barefoot Beach Villa. It is called Conch'Out. This house is really nice and the owners are great to do business with. They are very responsive before you commit and after you have stayed there. The property is made up of 2 or three lots that is good for privacy and the house is great in every way. The caretakers are exceptional people who have become close friends. We have stayed there approx. 15 times thru the years.
The beach is perfect and because of the point of land it sits on, if there is a puff of air moving, you will get it. I like the paloppa that sits on the point nearest the ocean, about 30-40 feet above the water.
Check out the web site for all the details.
Never stayed there, but I am pretty sure the house was called 'up yonder' until recently. So you may find reviews of the house under that name - which maybe doesn't help at all because if ownership changed, its possible the experience has as well - though it is in a nice area with anice beach.
Edited: 10 years agoWe stayed at Barefoot Beach Villa in May for four nights and it was great! There is not much about it on this forum but I assure you it is well equipped in a beautiful location. The screen porch is a huge plus and Howard the caretaker is so very helpful. We loved our stay there and would return with no hesitation.
Thanks for coming back with the update! BBVilla looks very nice - http://www.vrbo.com/435441 ? - really like it when there are so many photos of a property. I bet 4 nights wasn't enough...???!!! :)
We had a large group coming in so we had to move to a bigger house but if I get the opportunity to go back with just hubby or maybe one more couple, you can bet I would go there. It is also perfect for a family because it has a nice bunk room as well.
