$2000 Car rental deposit

Are there any car rental agencies that don't require a $2000 deposit on your credit card in La Paz, Mex?

If you buy the comprehensive insurance from them ($24.99 more or less) they will only place a $200 hold on the card. You must buy at least the third part insurance from them ($11.99). Your American credit cards auto insurance policy does not apply in Mexico. This is with every single car rental company in Mexico. From Hertz to Fox rent a car. Don't make the mistake of thinking you are getting a car for a mere $4.99 a day. Your American insurance does not apply with Mexican law.
