Parking near the inner harbour

We're looking for a safe place to park our rental car. Does Marriott or any nearby hotels let non-guests park in their garage? We made a reservation at Queen Victoria and saw that they have had several problems at their parking lot. Thanks.

I think that most of the hotels permit non-guests to park. Certainly the Empress does - there is a huge parking lot underneath, accessed from the east side, i.e., from Blanshard Street, southbound. At some of them, notably the Marriott, parking is tight whether you are a guest or not.
