Summer in Whistler

I hope to visit Whistler in late Sept. early October this year . Will the summer activities (bike park ,rafting etc) still be operating or is it too cold and the winter season starting .

Whistler isn't that high up and it'll be late summer when you're visiting so no problems there-also look to the Squamish area for river rafting, sea kayaking & windsurfing.

Well, not if you are planning to say, walk or ride your bike, but if you are planning to return to Vancouver and fly to Calgary, then that would work. Check WestJet airlines for flights.

Check WB website later on to check the actual summer opening hours.

Whistler to Calgary is a 13 hour drive.

It is very doable in 2 days, stay overnight at Revelstoke, but I guess you would like to visit other places as well ?? Otherwise you might be better off (and cheaper) flying to Calgary.
