Restaurants Near ROM - Kid Friendly

a few fridays from now, wife, son (4yo) and my folks will be at the ROM taking advantage of their 1/2 tickets after 430. Wondering around 730 or 8, where we could grab a good meal. My son is well behaved, but I dont want to drop a ton of money on a meal. Budget 25-30 bucks per adult. Any ideas on places near ROM that would fit the bill?

Don't know how adventurous your family is, but there's a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant across the street from the ROM called Pho Hung. It's upstairs, above a Chinese place, but don't let the location put you off - it's great, flavourful food at amazing prices (about $10/person).

Other than that, there's the Duke of York pub on Prince Arthur St., just a five-minute walk from the museum: york.thedukepubs.ca

And a whole bunch of places on Cumberland, one block north of Bloor, running east from Avenue Rd. The affordable ones range from cheap sushi to OK pub food (Hemingway's) to so-so Italian (Dimmi).
