decent accommodation in toronto?

We are attending my brothers wedding in toronto and are looking for decent accommodation for the week. I started looking at hotel suites but they are very expensive. Can anyone recommend self catering accommodation?

I dont like the idea of accommodation without an outside space for a whole week!

An apartment or suite with a balcony would be ideal.

Thanks for your help

Some idea of your budget would help. I doubt whether you will be spending much time in your room if you are only here for a week. Wouldn't think that outside space will be much of an issue.

Hi, MET128;

Welcome to the Toronto Trip Advisor forum!

Scroll up to the green band at the top of the page & click on Vacation Rentals. If there are places there that strike your fancy come back to the forum if you have any specific questions- ie about the neighbourhoods, access to sights, etc.

I am not sure what their rates are like, but the Cosmopolitan has suites with fully equipped kitchens. I have not stayed there so can't comment too much about the details, although it looks pretty nice from their website. I have stayed at the Sutton Place in Toronto and I would easily stay there again. Some of their higher up floors have suites with all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen (even a dishwasher). Their suites are huge, I can't recall if they have balconies though.

Good luck on your mission, I hope you find what you are looking for.
