Traveling to Mankota SK in September weather forecast high 70's during day high 40's at night. What do I pack to wear?
What would you normally pack to wear in temps like that?
Depends a lot on what you are planning to do. Layers are always the key.
If you're thinking winter clothes and boots, then that is overkill.Edited: 21 June 2018, 12:09
Since we operate on Celcius that will be 4C which is freaking cold !!!! so pack merino top and long johns just in case. The Merino wool dries fast if you do sweat and feels warm when wet.
Then a good windbreaker + for the layer I have a sleeveless vest that I use to keep the core temp up which is in the backpack just in case.
and the key is a good hat.
and if you really freeze easily there is always this vest LOL https:/…BLACK
That 4*c will hit in the early hours of the morning. When presumably you will be tucked up snug in a warm bed in a heated room.
Daytime highs of between 20c and 25c are warm and pleasant. You won't need layers, or thick jackets - you will need a light sweater in case it's cooler during the day and a decent sweater /light jacket for the evenings.
September is often a beautiful month on the Prairies. Depending on how far north you are headed obviously.
Maybe they will be up at the crack of dawn to go duck hunting LOL
Thank all of you very much! very helpful
