Advice needed for 2D 3N Liveaboard trip to Komodo

Question

Hi, we are travelling from the UK to Indonesia this summer and one of the items on our itinerary is a liveaboard trip to Komodo and surrounding area. We have a total of 4 nights for this. I have been in contact with one company which seem fantastic and have brilliant reviews. The girl I’ve been speaking to is lovely and extremely knowledgeable. I was wondering if I should definitely pre book it online before we go due to our tight itinerary or should we wait until we get there to book a trip. I’m just worried that there won’t be one available if we don’t pre book. The company I’ve been speaking to have offered a small ish boat but they have quite a few in their fleet.

We would recommend pre booking. Many people say book when you get there but from our experience it was a good idea to pre book. We have done this twice and had a reasonable time in Labuan Bajo 1 week. Pre booking will save you a lot of time walking up and down the street comparing prices etc. before entering the Marine park the boat company must register all persons on board with the harbour master the day before departure. Why waste your limited time in this beautiful part of the world.

pre-booking will guarantee the comfort you want, many visitors without making a reservation but they choose trip sharing. so if comfort & certainty is a priority, it would be better to pre book..more organized

Makes sure the prices what inclusion-exclusion. Normally they offered all included on prices exclude the entrance fee+ranger (about less than $50 per person). If you interest with diving also you can search/ask to operator, that's the best one in diving spots.
