on street parking near Lonsdale Quay hotel

Was wondering if this weekend I could leave a car on the street in N. Vanc? Do they meter all weekend like Vanc? Is it relatively safe?

Thanks for the help

Yes, it's as safe as Vancouver, you know the usual, nothing left inside the car, everything in the trunk.

No meters. Some information

On Lonsdale Ave, St. George, and Chesterfield - 1 hour parking 9-6 every day, up to about 5th St where no restrictions begin.

In the first block east or west of Lonsdale up to about 5th St - 1 hour 9-6

In the 200 or greater block east or west of Lonsdale on Esplanade, 1st, 2nd, 4th - 2 hour parking 9-6

In the 200 or greater block east or west on 3rd St. no restrictions.

On Lonsdale Ave., up the hill from 5th St or so to Keith Rd, no restrictions. This is a residential area, lots of overnight cars on the street.

You can't move your car to a different spot in the same block to outsmart a time limit, but you can move it to the next block.

Residential density is much higher now than 2-3 years ago,so parking is beginning to be at a premium.
