Is K-country different from area around Saddle Peak Mt?

Hi everyone

My husband and I are having a hard time deciding whether to go on a 3-day horse pack trip in The Sheep River area in K-country or in the area between Cochrane and Saddle Peak/Ghost River - spending most of the time in the mountains around Saddle Peak/Ghost River. Does anyone know about differences/similarities in these areas? Is the scenery around Saddle Peak/Ghost River as pretty as in K-country in your opinion? The outfitter in Cochrane states that we get to be above treeline during some points of the ride.

Sandie_DK, there are two Cochranes in Canada and you seem to have posted in the forum for the wrong one -- Cochrane, Ontario rather than Cochrane, Alberta. The Cochrane, Alberta forum is here, http://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowForum-g183732-i5163-Cochrane_Alberta.html . Although I see you've also posted the question to the Canadian Rockies and Kananaskis forums so maybe that will get some response.
