Trickle Creek Condos

Hi All,

We are thinking of staying in the Trickle Creek Condos for our skiing trip in February next year. Have any of you stayed there that can advise if they what they are like? Also, how far are they from the town centre, would it be walking distance of an evening?

Many Thanks

They are directly next to the Trickle Creek Hotel, we watched the Condos being built last year, don't know what they are like to stay in. They are not within walking distance of the town, there is a bus service although I believe it stops running at 9pm or you can get a taxi to the town.

Suggest you do Google + Map + search address to ensure the location is where you think it is "on the mountain" (or not) prior to booking. . You may want to drive your car to the ski hill parking lot everyday. . ? Snow fall/frost everynight can make getting your car in/our of your driveway an "unhappy" event.

Be a wise consumer - "ski-in/out" words can be misleading. . .

There are true properties "on" the mountain that can equate to easy access for lunch in your unit; bathroom comforts, etc. etc.

Kimberley "City proper" is not within walking distance of KAR base or any "slopeside" accomodations.

Limited options for eating at the Mountain Village base; "Old Baurenhaus" can be walked to - downhill - from resort; uphill walk back could be cold and slippery. . .
