Before you are taken in by Ryan Air's cheap fares, you need to know how they really make their money - by robbing as many of their customers as possible. If you choose to fly with them, be prepared to play their game. This means making sure you have checked in on line and printed your boarding pass, have one bag pre-paid that weighs not one ounce more than 15kg, and one carry on that weighs less than 10kg and fits within the designated dimensions. If you don't fit within the restricted confines of their policy, you will be denied boarding until you pay their unreasonable overage fees. In my wife's case, this worked out to be about 5 times the cost of the original fare. Also plan to get there really early, because they close the gate 1/2 hour before flight time, and will deny you boarding. No other airline treats their customers the way Ryan Air does. They are the worst in the business.
