Spending a 5 night trip over in Dublin and taking in Hogmany

Just looking for any suggestions for things to do in and around the city and also the best places to see in the bells

In response to earlier similar question about New Year's Eve 2010. In Ireland, Hogmany is not used to describe New Year's Eve, if I'm not mistaken.

Hogmany is a Scottish term and me being Scottish i used that to describe New Years Eve

Just incase you felt i was implying that its an Irish term
