Stopping off for breakfast

Hi, we are a family of 4 (2 aduts, 2 children aged 13 & 9) travelling from San Sebastian to Valencia and want to stop off for a late breakfast on the way in Zaragoza. We are leaving San Sebastian early, and expect to arrive in Zaragoza around 10am.

Does anyone have any recommendations where we can stop off for breakfast with a fairly easy place to park nearby?

Parking:

Plaza Nuestra Señora del Pilar, 3.

This plaza has many cafeterias and restaurants.

Plaza del Pilar is a great place for sightseeing and people watching with many cafes, but mind it is in the very city centre and it is not possible to park there unless you use one of the underground parking lots nearby. If you only want to stop for breakfast it may be not the most ideal place in town.

You probably will find places to park much easier around La Romareda football stadium. There are quite a few decent cafes and restaurants in that area as well. For instance this one gets consistently good reviews (even I had never breakfast there, only other meals and long time ago so I can't say first hand):

Cafeteria Restaurante Rincón: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Revie…

Or, from there you can use the tram to visit the city centre (paseo de la Independencia, El Pilar, La Seo...)

If you do not mind venturing to the city centre, my favorite cafes are:

Marianela: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Revie…

Doña Hipolita: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Revie…

That's very helpful, thank you. I will have a look at both options and decide.

Thank you for your help BennyMalaga. Just stopped off for churros and chocolate. We parked very easily at the underground parking you recommended. Zaragoza was very easy to drive in and out of. Thank you for your recommendation, it was very helpful!
