You are way out of season in November, so you will probably have to change boat in Naxos to come from Santorini to Amorgos. And the same on the return. Maybe there will be a ferry from Santorini to Kos, and maybe not. The only connection made public is on monday 1.november at 00:20. It may be necessary to go to Rhodes and then transit to Bodrum. You find all greek ferries on www.gtp.gr
Hi here there and everywhere,
The season does not actually matter much in this case as Amorgos > Kos is straightforward if you know how. Obviously check with www.gtp.gr, and Bluestar ferries closer to the date around late October:
1) Take the Bluestar ferry Amorgos(Aegiali) > Astypalaea, about 3-4 times a week. Ferries arrive about 03:00. Then a 6 hour crash.
2) 'Nissos Kalimnos' ferry to Astypalaia > Kalimnos. Tues, Thur, Sat, at 10:00, arrives Kalymnos about 13:00.
In fact it is probably possible to this in a day starting about 03:00.
For 1) you'll need to get from the quay on the north coast (Bluestar ferry) to the one in Gialos(by Chora) for the 'Nissos Kalimnos' ferry.
For 3) you will get to Kalymnos in time for at least one ferry to one of those Kos ports.
In addition there 'might' be a 1 per week Bluestar ferry direct Amorgos(Katapola) > Kos, or possibly Astypalaia > Kos.
The othere ways mentioned will work but they are 'around the houses' and take longer.
I would take the opportunity to stay on Astypalaia for a few days and not view it as a complicated drag to Kos and on to Bodrum.Edited: 19 August 2010, 07:32
