Expiry allowed on passport in visiting Cyprus

Hello

Has anyone travelled to Cyprus with less than 6 months left on their passport and did you have any problems?

Thanks

Good link from LancasterLad there. As Cyprus is part of the EU, and providing you are a British passport holder then you aren't required to have an additional six months remaining on your passport. As long as it is valid until the end of your stay then you will be fine.

You may also wish to know, that if you renew your passport now (providing you aren't travelling in the next couple of weeks) then whatever is remaining on your current passport up to nine months will be added to your new passport.

Thanks for above info, I can relax now with no fear I'm going to be turned away at the airport.
