Street Closure Grand Prix

My husband is an avid GP fan and whilst we will not be in MC for the GP we will be visiting for a day (from Nice) the week before -18/5. Will the roads around the track be closed enabling him to walk around it? Also what is the best way to come from Nice-either Bus or train? Thankyou in advance.

The track is closed only on race days, usually from around 7am to 7pm. However, the Historic Grand Prix takes place this year, from 11th to 13th May, so if you're visiting on one of those days, you'll need a ticket to get in.

You won't have a problem walking the circuit if you're there between the two GPs. The train will be quicker but the bus is cheaper.
