Train from Bergen to Myrdal and then Myrdal-Flam

Hi

There is a train that goes from Bergen to Myrdal at 7:58am which arrives at Myrdal at 09:47am.

The Myrdal-Flam timetable (02.05.2010 - 12.06.2010) shows me that there is one train which departs at 09:39am.

Does anyone know if this train would wait until the Bergen train has arrived or would we need to wait until the next one, which leaves at 10:55am?

In case we need to wait, any suggestions of things to do (eg walks, etc) for one hour?

Thanks a lot.

That is a bit strange, I think you have to wait for the next train. In the summer there should be a local train arriving Myrdal at 9:20.

Myrdal is only a station, isolated in the mountains. The snow is mostly gone so you can go for a walk in the area.

Sorry, the 07:58 train from Bergen does not correspond with the Flåm train.

If you want to avoid the waiting time in Myrdal, enjoy your breakfast and choose the next train from Bergen leaving at 08:40 corresponding with the Flåm train at 10:55.
