Family Friendly Pubs

Hi,

We have never been to Llandudno before and wondering if most pubs are family friendly and would welcome a 16yr old in with us at night-time. (Put us off Chester as we couldn't get in anywhere after 5pm-ish).

We have a brochure for Hen Dy Hotel on North Promenade and it looks so nice and has really good reviews on TA. Looks a real possibility for a break next year .

Hi,

Just to say thanks for your helpful suggestions and to give a bit of feedback.....

We went in The Queen Vic a few times and enjoyed some lovely meals and puddings(as well as some good beers ;-) ). A great atmosphere and allowed kids in until late, as well as dogs.

We went in the London for a couple of meals during the day but they stopped serving at 5.45pm on those days. Efficient friendly staff and nice meals.

Kings Head didn't serve food until 6pm so we had a drink there and after looking at the menu we decided on The Queen Vic again for a meal, but it was a lovely pub inside with a lovely atmosphere.

We also ate a couple of times in The Palladium. The meals weren't as good as the other places but were good value for what we paid for them.

It was nice to find so many nice pubs that welcomed our son in all night and were amazed to see that most also let people take their dogs in as well without any bother.

I just wish we had these sort of pubs nearby at home.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Llandudno and can't wait to make a return visit!

Hi Sharon,The Queen Vic and Palladium (weatherspoons) didn't have any entertainment on while we were there.

I think The Kings Head might have some but wasn't on early evening when we went in.

One place we did drop on was the bar in The Royal Hotel,Church Walks(by the tram station). They had karaoke on in the bar area on the night we went in and they welcomed kids in all night as well. I don't know if it's only certain nights as we only found it on our last night after being given a flyer for it..
