British sites offer cheaper car rental in USA - r they real?

Hello SFers!

I'm trying to rent a car from San Francisco and dropping it off in Las Vegas.

I tried the big american sites like priceline.com and directly from Hertz.

I get quotes from USD650 onwards for a 2 day rental.

But when I try the British sites (carrentals.co.uk & dollar.co.uk), I'm getting quotes around USD130 for the same car type package.

And these 2 sites offer the same pick-up location from San Francisco (364 Ofarrell street).

Has anybody tried them before?

Are they real?

Regards.

Yes, they're real. Also, look at carhire3000.com.

Make sure those sites include insurance or be prepared to add that onto the total as you would have to do on some of the USA sites.

Tks!

I found out that this UK sites don't include the massive 'one-way' charge for dropping off the car in a different state.
