Auburn football game

I am going to the October 6th game vs. Arkansas. It will be my first time. Not worried about having the most amazing seats but the best experience. What is the best way to get tickets? Where should we sit? (I assume in the middle of the Auburn fans, I do not want to sit with Arkansas)

I will be at that game as well with my family, so WAR EAGLE!!

Single game tickets are on sale through Auburn here - …evenue.net/cgi-bin/… This is about the only way to get tickets at face value. You can check StubHub for tickets, but they will likely be at a premium. For single game tickets through the school, you can't pick your seats or section. You can make a request, but there are no guarantees. You can be more specific on StubHub, but again at a premium. The tickets through the school will likely be upper deck, which really isn't bad. Most of the visiting team's seats will be in the 30's sections in the lower level and some of the upper deck from about section 105 or so and up. However, there will be Auburn fans everywhere. With all of that said, if you are willing to pay the price and can find them, seats in sections 5, 6, 7 or 8 in the west side lower level would be ideal. Don't go too low so you can see all of the field. I would say at least row 15 or higher.

Do plan to get there early enough for Tiger Walk which starts a couple of hours before game time. Specific game day schedules will be on the website closer to the game. My son is in the marching band, and being there for Tiger Walk and the Four Corners Pep Rally is awesome!! Then be sure to get in your seat for the eagle flight and the band's pre-game show. If you haven't seen either, check You Tube. Both the band and the team have "tunnel" videos that play to excite the crowd before they come out of the tunnel at the south endzone. Also, stay to the end of the game - regardless of the score. The band plays the fight song and then sings the alma mater with the team on the field in front of them after the game.

Let me know if you have other questions. WAR EAGLE!!

Thanks, that sounds great., I will make sure to do everything you mentioned. Really looking forward to the whole SEC experience. I grew up in CNY and went to Syracuse so I have seen some great basketball but never truly passionate college football.

If you haven't already made arrangements for where you will stay, you will most likely not be able to stay in Auburn without paying a premium for a room. One option would be Montgomery which is about an hour west on I-85. There are a few nice chain motels at exit 11 in an area called East Chase. There is also a nice Renaissance in the historic downtown area. Or, if you are flying into Atlanta, it is only about 2 hours away. Lots of options on I-85 between Atlanta and Auburn, including Callaway Gardens. Birmingham is also only about 2 hours away.

There will also be people selling tickets outside the stadium on game day. Just bring plenty of cash.
