My DL trip is getting closer. Looking for dining coupons. Any advice or suggestions on where I might find some? Not trying to spend a fortune on food as this trip is spendy already! We are a family of 5 (3 small children). They would eat McDonalds everyday if we let them! Bleck :-)

http://www.restaurant.com is a good option. Check the web for discount codes before you buy, sometimes you only need to pay $1 or $2.

Rubys', a chain of '50s style diners that kids (as well as many adults) love are offering coupons for free breakfasts/ pie/ sandwhiches, etc. They have a location in Anaheim and a nice one on the pier in Huntington Beach (in case you want to head for one of the nicer beach areas while you are visiting). You can get details here: http://ocdeals.ocregister.com/2012/04/07/rubys-diner-freebie-coupons/161547/ That column in the OC Register has new deals and coupons pretty much on a daily basis so if you can check it on-line you may see new stuff come along that may interest you.

If you are looking for something a bit more upscale and like fresh seafood the Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach has their own fishing boat that goes out everyday and fishes between Newport, Catalina, San Diego and back. Their daily catch is on the menu for dinner that day. It's a casual, New England style fish house located on the turning basin and if the weather is nice I'd eat outside on the dock. If you sign up for their e-crew e-mails they will send you a coupon for your birthday (I think it's good for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the big day) so if anyone in your party has a birthday you could get that. Their prices are moderate to begin with and I think the last one they sent me was good for about $10.00. so I had a very nice meal for a very reasonable price. they e-mail you the coupon and you print it out so you will need that capeability (some hotels will receive an e-mail for you and print it out but I'm not sure wherre you are staying. Bluewater Grill also has beef dishes available. If it's of interest to you check their website, www.bluewatergrill.com Hope some of that helps.

Those tips on Mousesavers are great!

They mention sealed bottles of water. Are you allowed to use your own refillable water bottle? There are drinking fountains on site I presume where we could fill the bottles?

My daughter & I carried small water bottles that we refilled several times. You can also ask for a free cup of ice water.

Yes, they do have some good info on Mousesavers, i use it frequently.

Yes, you can take water bottles into Disneyland, but no glass bottles. There are Drinking fountains all over the Parks usually near the Restrooms where you can fill up water bottles

Here are complete maps of the two Parks that also show the guest services such as restroom locations ect.

Any of the counter service restaurants will also supply a free cup of water when requested.

Good question. Are you allowed your own refillable water bottles in the park?

I assume you were composing your question about water bottles while both happytotrip & I were replying to Vancouverite's question. Yes, you can take your own refillable water bottle into Disneyland and California Adventure.
