Coombs Inn or Water Street Hotel?

We plan to spend 2 nights in Apalachicola in Feb. with our dog and have narrowed it down to either Coombs Inn or Water St.

Does anyone have an opinion on these two places? Water St. is about $20 more a night which we don't mind spending if it's a better place.

Probably better for your dog unless it is a very small dog

Thanks. I just made reservations for 3 nights at Water St. Hotel and hope that's enough time to enjoy the town & surrounding sights. Hope the weather is good in late Feb.
