Clothing optional or topless beaches in Costa Rica

Are there any? We're going to be in Tamarindo for a week, so any near there would be great. If not, we will be traveling the country for a week also and would love to hear of a good safe spot to sunbathe au naturel...

I don't believe that are any beaches that have been deemed au naturel in the Tamarindo area. There are, however certain beaches that are rather remote. One that comes to mind is the far end of Playa Langosta across the estuary and up about a mile. I am pretty sure that no one would bother you, but you would be rather isolated as there are none of the conveniences of town nearby.

Some people do it all the time in beaches like Punta Uva...at the Caribbean side of our country!
