Essential Medication in Turkmenistan

I understand certain medication may be banned in Turkmenistan, such as heavy painkillers, particularly opiates, and I have had conflicting information. These are prescription drugs and I can provide the boxes and a doctor's prescription receipt. Turkmenistan is my entry point for a month's visit to 5 'Stans so any problem would have knock on effects to the other countries and I couldn't manage. I manage well with this pain relief.

Please help with definitive information.

Dear 1ec

The link below obvously explains that Individuals may import prescription medicines providing they have a copy of the prescription with the medicine. The individual does not have to declare this importation.

Thank you so much for this. It may be a life saver. I really want to visit your country and the other Stans but I will be incapacitated without my prescribed drugs.
