Leaving on a trip tomorrow for Israel. Is it still safe to travel?
hello! i just want an update, im planning to go with tour package, estimated date is May-June 2013, is it safe now to go there in jerusalem and other nearby country?
Nothing has changed since the previous 150 comments.
Very simple answer - YES!!!!!!
I do not know why you think anything has changed. Of course it is safe!
It is certainly safe for Israel. By 'other nearby country' if you mean Jordan, then yes, tours are going back and forth between these 2 countries all the time and tourists travel back and forth all the time even without tours and guides. Enjoy your visit.
Hanniebee_12, totally safe, Jerusalem or any other part in Israel.
If you carry UAE passport, you need to arrange a touirst visa to Israel in advance. Make sure the tour operator does that for you, or do it yourself at any Israeli embassy.
Hi, my mom and my son are getting ready to travel to holy land, and well the concerns about what's going on, is there anything to be worry about??? thanks.

Given that most of the previous comments were posted in November, and, as several advisors noted within these comments, things can change a lifetime's worth in a few days in Israel, it may be that cecimdm is re-asking the question in view of the bombing of Syria that's been in the U.S. news this week. If so, I believe anyone visiting Israel now will have no inkling whatsoever that that even took place.
I think that's correct. I would not hesitate to go. Cecimdm -- think about what you are asking. We just had a bombing in Boston, and yet I did not hesitate to go out and watch the marathon that ran by my house on Sunday.
