Langkawi, ko samui, phuket or Krabi???

Trying to setup a last minute trip for the end of this month to Singapore and then do 4-5 days at a beach getaway. Trying to figure out which place to go. Was thinking between Langkawi, Ko Samui, Phuket or Krabi but am open to any other suggestions, just needs to be easy to get to from Singapore.

Looking for a nice beach resort, beautiful beaches/scenery, great food, maybe 1-2 outings/anything on the water. Don't care for nightlife but good restaurants are a must. Budget is not an issue. We've been to Ko Samui and loved it, was thinking to try someplace new but open to going back to Ko Samui. Any suggestions? Is one place better than the other this time of year? Thanks!

Look at Bintan, perhaps. Indonesian island accesed by a 45min ferry ride from Singapore. Short, easier trip...good resorts. Variety of options

What activities on water are you referring to?

The best beaches in South East Asia are in the Philippines. In Cebu, Mactan island where the Cebu airport is located at has numerous resorts, Direct flight from Singapore.

In Malaysia, Langkawi isn't considered to be among the best beach resort. Better beaches in Malaysia are at Redang, Tioman, Perhentians but these need a long bus ride followed by a ferry so they aren't that accessible compared to Langkawi.

As for Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, the beaches aren't as nice as they were years ago.

Bintan doesn't really have nice beaches. You don't get the white powdery sand beaches though it is the nearest to Singapore among all the other options. Nothing much to do in Bintan either as most dining options are location within each resort.

Samui would be the pick of the bunch for weather. Phuket, Krabi & Langkawi are just entering their rainy seasons, This does not mean it will be raining all the time, but there can be rough seas putting a dampener on sea swimming or boating. Whereas Samui being on the opposite side is not as affected by the SE monsoon so stays reasonably dry.

Bintan as suggested above is good too, it has a similar climate as Singapore (about the same year round) or another idea that is in good season would be Bali.
