Humidity protection for camera and laptop in Amazon

We will be in the amazon for 5 days this month and wondered if we need to protect our laptop and SLR camera from the humidity. If it is needed and you know of a product that will work please let us know.

hello,i suggest you order the silica sachets that come in small bags, with your stuff.keep it in the plastic bags you wrap your gear in.

-get from e bay!--probably not necessary, but good to be safe.

zip lock bags and those dessicant packets!! You may want to even bring some ziplocks for anything made of paper. Amazing what the humidity does to it!

i'll go further , and boldly say : " leave that laptop at home, and travel with a cheap digital camera instead " !!

-you are there to experience reality, and not live behind the antisocial artificial veil of digital media, consumer culture brainwashing dross!!

-yea,you can take nice photos, and write perfect reports, but that isn't the real deal is it....
