My flight into Maumere was recently canceled, upsetting my plans for a road trip from Maumere to Labuan Bajo.

I am considering a last minute alternative, including simply flying into LBJ and from there doing a short overland loop trip. I have 5-6 days to play with and traveling alone.

I’m looking for suggestions for a suitable itinerary beginning from and ending at LBJ, by public transport (shared bus, shared minivan, or shared car). If public transport isn’t viable, then perhaps the next best option?
