Osaka City Centre to Iseshi

Hi guys! I'm pretty new to travelling around Japan, so wanted to seek some opinion. I'll be staying within the Osaka city centre (booked an accomodation around Osaka JR station) and heading to Ise (booked an accomodation just opposite Iseshi).

Looking at the route online, there us a Kintetsu line that connects Osaka JR and Iseshi station - am I right?

Also, would the train rides need to be booked in advance for the travel or would probably be available on the same day itself?

Thank you!

You don't have to book in advance. You can take Kintetsu Ltd Exp by booking just before departure; it won't be crowded usually. Depart from Osaka Namba, Uehonmachi, or Tsuruhashi.

Btw, I think you already know, but you cannot use the JR Pass for Kintetsu.
