Hello Englandsscout ,

Government is tackling this issue even .One can complain at anti -profiteering cell if one finds taxing and pricing to be unreasonably high post GST regime .As Government has made appeal to all restaurateurs ,service provider and businesses to pass on the tax gain to consumers /end user . Can call Toll free if you feel you are charged wrong GST rates for complaints at : 1800 225 900

As to PLH -Fort .That is their way of attracting customer by offering discount before the newer rates as all the restaurants were facing tremendous reduction in client age post July 1 when GST regime was in place. So removal of discount is at their discretion. But as they are charging the new GST of 5% they are compliant of taxes . As to pricing one needs to know the personality and discounts are the management discretion.

Hello Englandscout,

If one is prudent , one who cares will surely take notice of it .

With Government going digital & its ministers social they do hear and take actions in near past in certain departments .

Hope will be getting better and good for all.

Hi there, its 5% now without input tax credit. However, it is unlikely to be passed on to the customer as many of the restaurants are revising their base price. For any suggestions on restaurants, you can download the app Comida (www.bit.ly/downloadcomida) and you will get exciting restaurant in Mumbai according to your budget.

PS: I am a co-founder of Comida and would appreciate your feedback on our app too. Thanks!
