I am planning a 5 day trip to Tucson and thought that Green Valley might be a better place to stay.
Any suggestions on a place that is not right on the highway? That might have a place to walk around in the mornings?
What things do you want to see during your visit? Green Valley would not be a good base for visiting Tucson. Plus, the only hotels are right along the freeway.
We are hoping to visit the Mission San Xavier, Saguaro National Park, The botanical Gardens, Sonora Museum. Sabino Canyon and anything else that comes up while we are there.
You would be better to stay in Tucson as in your other post. Those things are scattered all over the Tucson area, and on the fringes of the urban area.
