Black Rhino lodges - entry access

Can guests who are due to check in to a lodge in Black Rhino Game Reserve on Christmas Day afternoon at 2pm spend the morning driving around Pilansberg after leaving Sandton at dawn? Are there day visitor quotas in Pilansberg that may prevent them getting in at one of the southern gates on Christmas morning? They would then be stuck outside the park until checkin time. Also, can they access Black Rhino at 2pm by driving up through the park or do they have to exit Pilansberg and enter Black Rhino from an outside gate?

I see you have come & gone, but for anyone else;

No daily quotas even in Peak time.

Only Lodge guides are allowed to drive that connecting road. It is not marked even on the Pilanesberg map, so you won't know where it is in any case. More important if you use any of the clearly marked no entry roads, you will probably be suspected of being a rhino poacher. So unfortunately you have to drive around.
