I want to plan something small but not sure what hotel will accomadate this. Any advise how to plan a kids hotel party, mainly want to use the pool
search for hotels with a pool? But hotel pools are usually for guests of the hotel, not for additional friends/family. (I would search local parks and recs, YMCA, Jcc for pools- they will have lifeguards, which is important for a kids party. Also consider a splash pad at a local park, water park or theme park with kids water play area- my sister goes to Great America just for the water play area.)Edited: 28 May 2017, 10:44
I have never heard of a hotel hosting a pool party for a child's b-day.
You would need to find a small hotel and take it over in order to do that.
I have had b-day parties in rooms at hotels with arcade games but not at the pool where other guests would be inconvenienced by the event.
I've seen small town hotels do this, because they're often the only pool in the area, but I wouldn't expect the Bay Area hotels to do it.
