Legoland Water Park

I heard/read the water park can close down if reaches a certain number. How often does this happen? Can we go when we arrive, get stamped for return later, and go enjoy regular Legoland? I heard if your hand is stamped you can walk right back in. Just wondering how true this is. TIA. We go tomorrow if that matters.

Weird how it works, but the entrance to the Water Park is INSIDE the main LEGOLAND park, so you have to enter the main turnstiles and have access to the entire main park. The Water Park is on the other side of the park.

And yes, if the Water Park area reaches a certain limit, the Fire Marshall requires the park to not allow any more people in into enough people leave to allow more in.
