One night in Downtown Napa

We are staying in Napa in Wine Valley Lodge just for one night.

Please can someone recommend a nice meal? (we aren’t foodies but enjoy and appreciate a good meal) Please can you also recommend a nice tasting room? We are also amateurs in the wine tasting world.

Just FYI, my dad is with us and he’s temporarily on crutches and part of the time using a wheelchair so somewhere relatively accessible would be even better.

Thanks in advance

So, you are looking for a tasting room downtown? Or, a tasting room at a winery?

You might like Jam Cellars downtown. Tarla's Restaurant is next door and there are a couple of other good restaurants across the street.

We like Celadon, then close by for a tasting room Vermeil - comfortable places to sit as well as wheel chair friendly.

From Celadon its a couple of blocks away.

If you want to wheel him in the wheel chair, you can go out on the plaza area and get very nice views of the Napa River.

I agree with mini that Celadon is a very nice choice. Lovely ambiance, great food and service there. Morimoto is another one of our favorites, for a more contemporary ambiance. :)

Heck, from Wine Valley Lodge just walk on down the street to Tannery Bend Brewing. It's only a couple of blocks, plus good snacks.

Alternatively Oxbow Public Market has bunches of different restaurants so everyone can have what they want, and it is wheelchair accessible, though frequently crowded.

"We like Celadon, "

This is exactly the place we went as well and we liked it.

The new Archer Hotel in downtown Napa has a Charlie Palmer Steak House - accessible restaurant on the ground floor, a hip bar in the main lobby area and a rooftop bar as well
