Non-Ski Activities

I am traveling to Beaver Creek with a group of skiers and am looking for ideas for things to keep me busy since I don't ski. Are there any yoga classes? Places to hike? Spas? Sightseeing? Ice Skating?

And what are the best restaurants to eat at while in town?

We will be there late Feb-early March.

Thank you!

They Hyatt has a great spa with yoga and other classes along with treatments. Ice Skating right in the village, you could snow shoe too. In the BC area, Spendido and Mirabelle are great restaurants, you can also try Beanos or Zach's Cabin for a special night out. www.beavercreek.com is a great resource.

There is outdoor ice skating in Beaver Creek Village.

I've been to the Allegria Spa at the Park Hyatt and it was wonderful. Just Google "spas in Vail/Beaver Creek".

Same for yoga classes. Also the concierge at your hotel can help you.

Are you aware that Vail is "next door"? You don't have to drive, you can take a shuttle: https:/…getting-around.aspx

Visit the the Nature Discovery Center next to the Eagle's Nest gondola on Vail Mountain. Guided snowshoe tours with a naturalist are free.

Try cross-country skiing.

A wonderful yoga studio is Mountain Soul Yoga (in Edwards!). Snowshoeing at McCoy Nordic Park is also fabulous, with gorgeous views. I love Allegria Spa at Park Hyatt, and it's right by the Black Family Ice Rink as well (open 12-9PM).
