Island beach

Is it still the case that you can buy a day pass for island beach from the town hall, as a non-resident?

I read it only, but then can’t see any information on the Greenwich website to substantiate that. All of the passes look like the require residency, which we don’t have.

Any help, most appreciated! Thanks

How much does it costs now? We are coming on the train, so won’t need to pay for parking, just the ferry.

Yes the day beach pass is 7$ be sure to get that before you get on the ferry if you are going that route. Go to the civic center and get your passes for ALL the days you plan on going. They make it very difficult to get passes and ferry info. They do not sell passes on the weekend FYI! And you have to have the beach pass to get a ferry pass.
