Think we may have an issue.

Booked all our hotels ands car rental from Alomo and spotted we need a credit card for security deposit.

\Do you guys accept a debit card as a credit card do you know.

Just we have no way of getting a credit card now

Most places take a debit card.

You have to show the card you booked your car and hotels with. Plus ID

and show proof of ticketing of arrival and departure out of the US. Some agencies take more money for security which is refunded up return. Go to Alamo website for details.

If you use your debit , just be aware those funds will be unavailable to use for an extended time period since it's a deposit or hold on your card. I've heard of the money not getting released until well after the vacation has ended.

Almost all hotels in Florida will want a credit card, especially if staying several days. They typically "hold" an amount equal to one nights stay. You can use the debit card but they will hold those funds and they dont refund them until a couple days after you leave, some places take even longer. Ou can try refusing, stating that you do not intend to have any incidentals on the room. Meaning you will not be able to charge anything to the room like drinks, etc.
