Coming to Madison with a historian

Coming to Madison with my mom who loves antiques, history, civil war things. What do I need to make sure we see?

And me I love GOOD food, we all ready have reservation at the Madison Tea Room, where else can we get some yummy food?

Thanks!

There are several restaurants in Madison but if you want southern cooking, go to the Blue Willow in nearby Social Circle -

The blue willow is great, but note the prices --- not too high, but not too cheap:

Also note that on Friday and Saturday nights it is a "seafood" buffet versus the traditional southern buffet.
