Enforced Parking

Hi, just a reminder that they absolutely enforce paid parking, lol.

As we were leaving for the day, we stopped at a public lot and pulled in so I could run and get a couple pictures before we left. I was out of the car about 10 mins, and thought I could sneak by.

Nope, now I have a lovely citation for $45 as a souvenir :)

Next time I won't break the law, lol.

I like your attitude!! The law is what it is and as far as I know, the fees pay to keep that wonderful beach as clean as it is. Hope you got some good pics

I always wonder, do people have the same expectations about NYC or Boston or Chicago?

Do they expect to be able to just park "for only 10 minutes", just to "sneak by" and NOT have a ticket greeting them on their return to the car?

If so, it must be a different sense of adventure.

If not, I wonder what makes islands special...
