I’m a fan of residence inns. Great breakfasts and cocktail hours. There’s one on LaSalle street which is an easy walk to grant park

You are not thinking of putting 4 adults in one room, are you? That would exceed occupancy limits which are dictated by Chicago fire code.

If you are looking for 2 rooms, 2 beds plus breakfast buffet would be easy to find in the Loop. There's the Hampton Inn Majestic, for instance.

Of course there are some dates when there are big conventions, making rooms harder to find. Take a look at the "Dates to Avoid" topic on the right side of this page (not available on cellphone apps)

Thanks for replying. But I am looking for a room for 4 people to fit. Since we are just sleeping in the hotel I do not see the need of paying for 2 rooms.

See if one of the downtown Hampton Inns or Comfort Suites on N. Michigan Ave meets your needs.

remove the breakfast buffet and you will have more options. Also 4 adults in 1 room = long line for the bathroom. Get 2 rooms

Many of the suites style hotels in The Loop and River North have two queen beds and a sofa bed in the living area. Many of them include breakfast buffets. Go to hotels.com and check your criteria. Residence Inn, Homewood Suites, Omni Suites, ...

Briana, it really isn't up to you. The hotels have to abide by the city fire codes - designed for your safety - and, subsequently, so do you.

As mentioned above, with that many adults, you'll have to look towards suites. But also check the maximum occupancies for some suites just don't have the area of the room to allow 4 adults. It will state on the hotel's website how many they will allow.

Why does the hotel have to be by Grant Park? Is there some reason in particular that you need to be there?
