Dog friendly places in Ogunquit & beach parking questions

We just rented a house in Ogunquit near Perkins Cove for a week in August. Been to Ogunquit several times but this is our first time bringing our small dog and our first time staying for a week.

I know Ogunquit does not allow dogs on the beach in the summer but are there any beaches nearby that do allow them in the morning or evening? Any local dog parks or great places to walk the dog? Are dogs welcome in the village (besides the Marginal Way)? Any outdoor restaurants that welcome dogs?

Also, is it possible to get a weekly sticker for the beach in Ogunquit or is our only option to pay for parking by the day? What is the current rate? Or could we just walk to Perkins Cove and take the trolley to the beach? Is the trolly free? Thanks!

" Are dogs welcome in the village "

Positively, Sometimes their are more dogs in the Village then Humans LOL

" Also, is it possible to get a weekly sticker for the beach in Ogunquit "

NO, but you can take a trolley to and from the beach as long as you don't have tons of beach stuff, If you do have chairs, coolers and a beach umbrella then drop it off at the beach by car, take the car home then take the trolley back or of course pay the $30 daily or find another parking area that's a bit less expensive, but they all will be within $10 of each other.

" Is the trolly free "

No, 2015 rates were $2.00 adult, $1.50 Child

" walking your dog "

There is an Ogunquit Dog Park. Lots of dogs in Ogunquit, but not allowed on beaches, only certain times of the year. Make sure you pick up, there is a heavy fine for not picking up your dog's poop. We've enjoyed walking our dog around Perkins Cove, on the pretty roads through the woods (Pine Hill, Shore Rd.). Only locals can get stickers for beach, but trolley is the only way to go to save some $. You;ll see the dog-friendly places by the water bowl outside the front door.

I was wondering if there is anywhere around Perkins cove with picnic tables we could get take out and eat with our dogs. I know there are benches but thought tables would make it easier. We always get Lobster rolls from the Lobster Shack but this year our pooches will be with us.
