Free trolley service to start on July 4 to Labor Day

Free trolley service will transport passengers from the Pemberton Point ferry to seven stops all the way to Nantasket Beach. It will start July 4 to the end of August, and maybe, beyond. A grant has made this new transportation service available. Parking lots get filled up on weekends and this may entice people to come from Boston from either the Long Wharf or Rowe’s Wharf in just 30 minutes in a cool water route with the MBTA ferry service to Hull to go to the beach.

Just a clarification... the service is weekends only. But it's a great chance to come to the beach from the city. The boat is also a really nice ride.

Thiis brings back in some sense the old Nantasket boat that brought people for many decades from Boston out to Nantasket Beach.
