My family will be taking the ferry from nantucket to hyannis on a sunday afternoon. We will need transport to boston. Will taxi's and/or ubers be available at the port typically? Thanks!

There won't be a cab stand with taxis waiting to take you to Logan, if that's what you mean. It's a 70 mile ride so you should arrange something ahead of time.

Agreed. That is going to be a seriously expensive cab or Uber ride!

Call the lady cal cab company to find out the price and book if you want.

Based on your other post (Logan to Hyannis) I did a "taxi fare finder" search and it estimates a cab from Boston to Hyannis would run $250; it's a 70-75 mile trip and would take about an hour and a half. This is assuming a cab (or ride share service) would agree to such a long trip.

Have you considered taking the P&B bus? Very convenient and a lot less expensive than a taxi. https:/…

Peter Pan bush also goes fro Hyannis to Logan. https:/…

If Hyannis is just a stepping stone to get back they may want to look into just flying from Nantucket.

Certainly easier and quicker and may be in the same general price range of ferry and cab depending how many people 'family' is. Probably not, but worth checking.

But yeah like the previous post says Bus would be the way to go to keep the price reasonable.

Regarding response #3 .... I was trying to say "call the LOCAL cab company". Between my keying errors and auto correct, I never know what I will get! Lol!
