Skaket Beach Motel vs Govenor Prence Inn

Can you help us decide on either of the two above for 2nd week in August. We are an older couple (no kids) and our priorities are: quiet, well-run, outdoor pool, ability to get on the bike path. Any thoughts appreciated. Dreaming of summer fun after a nightmare winter. Thanks for your help.

We have been renting in Orleans for many years but we did stay in the Town Cove last year for a week before we moved into our rental. Liked it very much. Sorry, can't comment on the two you mention.

I've stayed in both places. Have you checked the reviews on TripAdvisor? They've helped me make good decisions on lodging many times. I haven't been back to either motel in a number of years, but from our experience and based on reviews, I'd choose Skaket Beach over Governor Prence.

We also stayed at The Cove (which Senior mentioned) a number of times, but didn't care for it on weekends because they accommodate a lot of wedding parties.
