Have not been but did enjoy Cruisin the Gulf a couple of years ago in October.

I wanted to bump this topic up to see if anyone cares to provide comments. I recall reading that 100,000+ people attend this festival. I was hoping to get some insight into the event. I'm considering going next year.

TIA

I thought I'd try one more time for input. We enjoy going to the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival in March and wondered if this one was anything like it.

It is alot like the Fairhope festival. Me and my mom go every year to Peter Anderson and always make it a wonderful weekend get away. The weather is always perfect and the local hand made items are amazing. Especially good to go to if you like pottery and art. We never miss it.

Hi John. Yes, the Peter Anderson festival is very big around here. Locals and visitors alike look forward to it every year. I personally will put aside $ throughout the year with intentions of spending it on pottery and art at this event. The location is perfect with plenty of local restaurants and the Gulf is a few blocks away. I highly recommend a trip to experience it at least once...but I wouldn't be surprised if you returned every year. 😉
